GIVING IS AN ACT OF LOVE
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. - John 3:16
Real love gives. Without giving, the God kind of love does not exist. God demonstrated this kind of love in the gift of His Son for mankind. If we really love we also will give.
Love has many definitions and it is often misunderstood. Webster defines love as, “an unselfish, loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another.”
In this verse it is easy to see that love and giving are connected and cannot be separated. In fact without giving there can be no true love.
And when we give, we will show that while our money is very precious and dear to us, God is more precious and dearer to us.
Most importantly, your giving will help to support this ministry to meet the expenses of the church, relief of the poor, community services, and the spread of the gospel to all nations. – Matthew 28:19-20
